Consequences of Drop in Birth Rate

If we continue to have fewer children we will shrink in numbers and, if the change occurs abruptly, we will experience the difficulties of an aging population in the face of a declining income and revenue base. This has implications not only for government, but also sociological consequences for the family and the health of individuals. The fact is, we need children to continue a healthy and vibrant existence (Psalm 127:3).
