A Billion Dollars for Pro-Abortion Groups

E-mail Print PDF

taking cash In the midst of the economic turmoil in the U.S., we have received one more indication that governmental priorities are painfully misplaced. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) recently reported that six pro-abortion groups spent over $1 billion (let's spell that out, $1,000,000,000.00) in taxpayer money from 2002 to 2009. Yet, pro-abortion legislators have found ways to give your tax money to organizations like Planned Parenthood, under the condition that funds will not pay for abortion procedures.

A new bill, Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 614), seeks to end this sleight of hand and keep your tax dollars from funding groups who are working to expand the abortion business.
